Through overcoming challenges comes growth and strength. It is your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself that determines how your life story will develop.
There are those among you, although young, that have already suffered a full measure of grief and sorrow. How dear you are to the church, how beloved are you to you Heavenly Father.
Though it may seem that you are alone, angels attend you. Though you may feel that no one can understand the depth of your despair our Savior Jesus Christ understands.
You are not alone. If you endure it well, God will exalt you on high.
God's path will take you to your happily ever after destination. Happily ever after is not something only found in fairytales. You can have it. It is available to you. But you must follow your Heavenly Father's map.
You are princesses destined to become queens. Your once upon a time is NOW.

Miss Mikel,
I miss that class. I miss that crazy teacher. I miss our note passing. Okay, not the teacher. But I do miss the note passing. I miss the stories and topics that came up in that class. I miss our projects where I kind of made up the answers to questions. Okay, I don't miss the projects. But I do miss the crazy made up answers to the questions. I miss our tests. Okay, I don't miss the tests. I miss the lucky-golf-ball tests and the princess-pencil-tests.
I miss our crazy laughter in the back of the classroom when the crazy teacher went off on one of his rants.
I miss our crazy most extensive notes. I miss our crazy quotes. I miss our sitting in the back of the classroom. Just sitting there. Occassionally taking notes. Or pretending to that is. When really I was creating my now famous list of 100 things to do before I turn 100. I miss our wild adventures and crazy talks, while our teacher was talking.
Much Love,
Cara
